EV For All
Electric Vehicles, commonly referred to as EV's are gaining popularity worldwide and Northern BC is no exception. Despite the cold winters and rugged terrain here in Fort St. John and surrounding areas, EVs are perfectly suited to meet the needs of drivers in our region. Let's explore together why making the switch to electric might be one of the best decisions for you and your family.
Welcome to the future of driving!
Charging Infrastructure is Growing: Many people think charging an EV requires a massive extension cord! But today, Northern BC has a growing network of charging stations along major routes, so you’re never too far from a power source. The province of British Columbia is completing the electric highway by the end of September - which will have 155 fast chargers up and running every 150km. Charging anxiety can be a thing of the past!
Perfect for Everyday Driving: For local driving around FSJ or weekend getaways, modern EVs offer ranges that cover your daily needs without constant recharging.
And the big one here in Northern BC - Cold Weather Performance: EVs might surprise you with their winter performance. Thanks to battery heating systems and fewer moving parts, EVs can handle cold climates better than ever. They have preconditioning protocols to help extend battery life and performance, even in cold weather. Our service department's shuttle is an electric vehicle and fully operational in the winter months here in Fort St. John!
